'No one in the family except Khaleda Zia will get VVIP benefits'

Only BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia will get the security of the Special Security Force (SSF), said Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Forests, Climate Change and Water Resources.

The Chief Advisor's Press Secretary Mohammad Shafiqul Alam and Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder were present at the time.

Advisor Rizwana Hasan said, "The VVIP protocol is applicable only to Begum Zia, not to other family members. The government has already issued a gazette in this regard."

BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is being taken to London for advanced treatment. When asked about this, Syeda Rizwana Hasan said that all kinds of cooperation from the government are continuing.

On Thursday morning, the Advisory Council met at the Chief Advisor's office in Tejgaon. The Advisory Council passed several ordinances there and gave its principle approval. He briefed the media on the decisions taken and discussions at the meeting in the afternoon.
