He expressed his expectation of this support at a meeting held at the Upazila Muktijoddha Complex on Monday evening.Present at the meeting were Hatia Upazila convener of the Muktijoddha Sangsad and former general secretary of the Upazila BNP, Khondaker Abul Kalam, freedom fighter Enamul Haque, freedom fighter Nurul Islam, freedom fighter Sapar Uddin, and freedom fighter Md. Yasin. Former acting president of the municipal BNP Mukarram Billah Shahadat, former joint general secretary Ashiq Iqbal, former joint convener Millatur Rahim Millat, upazila Juba Dal convener Ismail Hossain, municipal Juba Dal convener Momin Ullah Russell, upazila Swechchhasebak Dal member secretary Sumon Talukder, Chhatra Dal convener Riaz Mahmud and leaders of various levels of organ and allied organizations.Central BNP organizing secretary Mahbuber Rahman Shamim received the nomination of paddy sheesh from Noakhali-6 Hatia. As part of the election campaign, he was present as the chief guest at a huge public meeting in Burirchar Union of the upazila on Sunday afternoon.He exchanged views with party leaders and activists since Monday morning. As part of the campaign in the afternoon, he went to the Muktijoddha Complex. He exchanged views with the freedom fighters present there. At that time, he called on the freedom fighters to work for the BNP's party symbol, the sheaf of rice. The freedom fighters welcomed his call.
