Desk News || BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has strongly condemned the attack on Baul artists. He said, "The attack on the Bauls is extremely despicable. This attack on the Bauls, the bearers of rural culture in Bangladesh, is nothing but the work of fanatics."He said these things after inaugurating the newly built Thakurgaon district BNP building on Wednesday (November 26) afternoon.Regarding the victims of the fire in Dhaka's Kakrail slum, he said, "The government must quickly stand by the victims and make arrangements for compensation. Along with this, the real cause of the fire and those responsible must be identified through a fair investigation and brought to justice."The BNP Secretary General said that such accidents often occur due to mismanagement and negligence of various institutions. He also said, "If there were proper law enforcement and firefighting systems, such an incident would not have happened." Thakurgaon District BNP President Mirza Faisal Amin, General Secretary Poygam Ali, and leaders of district and upazila BNP and allied organizations were present at the event.
