Desk News || BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu has said that the people of Bangladesh will cast their votes for their preferred candidate and party. “The national election will be held by next February, and no force can stop it. The people of Bangladesh will decide who they want to see in leadership. For the past 16 years, Tarique Rahman has been leading the party. He is the one who will be the future Prime Minister of the country,” Dudu stated.He made these remarks on Monday afternoon while addressing a rally at Shibbari intersection in Khulna city, marking the 47th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). The rally was organized as part of a six-day program by the Khulna metropolitan and district BNP units.Highlighting Tarique Rahman’s leadership, Dudu further said, “Only Tarique Rahman has the ability to turn the wheels of Bangladesh and take the country to the peak of development. We want him, BNP wants him, and the people of Bangladesh want him. That is why, on this founding anniversary, we must remain united and determined. Until BNP returns to power, there can be no relaxation in our efforts.”The rally was presided over by Khulna Metropolitan BNP President Advocate S. M. Shafiqul Alam Mona. The keynote speaker was BNP Information Affairs Secretary Azizul Bari Helal, while Special Assistant Organizing Secretary Jayanta Kumar Kundu was also present as a guest.Although a procession was scheduled after the rally, it was later canceled considering public inconvenience. However, after the event, BNP leaders and activists took part in cleaning up the venue.
