They do not have any plan. The state does not run with a bouquet of words, the people do not get food, employment and money. All these things require a plan.He said these things at a program organized by BNP at the Krishibid Institution Auditorium in Dhaka’s Farmgate this afternoon (Tuesday). BNP organized this program titled ‘Plan for Building the Nation’ on the occasion of the Victory Month.Tarique Rahman said, the people expect from us how to run the country, how to solve their problems. The people want to see the whole plan from us.Tarique Rahman instructed the leaders and activists to convey BNP's plans to the people in detail, including combating corruption in the country, maintaining law and order, expanding women's education, developing sports, education, health, eliminating unemployment, training the youth, expanding the industrial sector, family cards, pharmacy cards, and health cards.Stating that BNP has repeatedly freed the country from the grip of corruption, Tarique Rahman said that the corruption index has been decreasing during BNP's tenure. Each time, the BNP government has reined in corruption.Tarique Rahman commented that during the tenure of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, the country worked towards becoming self-sufficient in food and during Begum Khaleda Zia's 2001-2006 regime, the country was gradually brought out of the 'label' of corruption. He also said that Khaleda Zia formed the Anti-Corruption Commission to prevent corruption. At that time, permission was not required to investigate any government official. However, fascist Sheikh Hasina changed that law. These rules will be changed when BNP comes to power.The acting chairman of BNP said that BNP has a clear and successful track record in protecting the country's independence, sovereignty and rights (such as establishing the right to Talpatti and getting a fair share of water). BNP founder, martyred President Ziaur Rahman, risked his life to drive India out and take control of Talpatti Island, which is part of Bangladesh. Only BNP has gone to the international arena to get a fair account of water. Even before that, if Ziaur Rahman had not taken power through the Sepoy Janata Revolution in 1975, the country's independence and sovereignty would have been extinguished.Emphasizing on making the country's women self-reliant, the acting chairman of BNP said that half of the country's population is women. Why should we keep them indoors? If we come to power, we will take initiatives to provide 'family cards' to the female heads of about four crore families.Announcing strictness in controlling the law and order situation, Tarique Rahman said, "The law and order situation in the country must be brought under control at any cost. We must be strict in this regard. Anyone who commits wrongdoing cannot be from any party, he is a wrongdoer. In the past, if someone from the party committed wrongdoing, BNP has judged them not by party means, but by law. It will do the same in the future as well."Urging party leaders and activists, Tarique Rahman said, "The individual is not important, since this is a party program, the party must be brought first. If the party survives, if the people of Bangladesh support this party, then only will we be able to make the country-building programs successful. Therefore, to get the support of the people of the country, we will have to go door-to-door in teams in each area. We will not keep the plans for building the country in the plans. We will have to print as many copies as possible in the form of leaflets and deliver them to people's homes.
