I do not see any further complications in running for the election after becoming a voter.He also said that there are two aspects here - Tarique Rahman's personal security and the security of the Election Commission building as a KPI. The Election Commission will take necessary steps considering both aspects.Stating that a final decision has not yet been made on where Tarique Rahman will vote - at his Gulshan residence or at the election office - EC Anwarul Islam said that depending on the situation, it can be done in two ways; either one can be chosen. The matter will be informed in due course.Earlier, BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed said that Tarique Rahman will be registered as a voter on December 27. However, after the schedule is announced, there will be no opportunity to become a voter at the field level as per the general rules, so the matter will be completely under the jurisdiction of the Election Commission.Incidentally, the schedule for the 13th National Parliament election was announced on December 11. As a result, how and by what method Tarique Rahman will become a voter is the subject of discussion now. Since he is a resident of Dhaka, his voter-related activities are supposed to be completed at the Dhaka Regional Election Office.According to EC sources, former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia became a voter at the cantonment house at the last moment after the schedule was announced on November 29, 2008. According to that precedent, if everything goes well, Tarique Rahman can also become a voter from his home.The acting chairman of BNP has announced a plan of his own to build a future Bangladesh after returning home after a long 17-year exile. Although he did not give details of the plan, he sought the cooperation of everyone in the country in implementing it.
