The showdown took place across various key areas of the upazila, including Chandina headquarters, just before the official election campaigning period ended at 8:00 PM tonight. Thousands of activists and local residents spontaneously joined the rally in support of the 'Kals' (Pitcher) symbol.The procession paraded through the main roads of Chandina Bazar, eventually transforming into a vast sea of people. During the event, Atiqul Alam Shaon addressed the crowd, urging voters to cast their ballots for the 'Kals' symbol to ensure his victory. The entire area resonated with slogans from supporters chanting for the symbol throughout the march. People from different unions and villages of the upazila gathered to express their solidarity with the candidate.The program was conducted in a highly disciplined manner to ensure compliance with the electoral code of conduct before the 8:00 PM deadline. According to local voters, this massive last-minute showdown has further consolidated Shaon’s position in the electoral race. Expressing optimism about his victory, Atiqul Alam Shaon stated that the love of the common people is his greatest strength, and if elected, he will work tirelessly for the development of Chandina.
