Therefore, devout Muslims across the country will begin fasting from the last part of tonight (Wednesday night).Meanwhile, popular Islamic scholar Shaykh Ahmadullah has shared a message welcoming the month of Ramadan.In a post on his verified Facebook page, he said, “With the light of the new moon begins the long-awaited month in the life of believers — the holy month of Ramadan. Ahlan wa Sahlan, Shahru Ramadan (Welcome, O Month of Ramadan).”Shaykh Ahmadullah further said, “Let us spend every moment of this month in worship. Let us illuminate our hearts with the light of Taqwa (God-consciousness) and the Qur’an.” At the end of his post, he prayed, “May Almighty Allah grant us all the ability to understand the importance of Ramadan and perform more righteous deeds.
