There is no question of the army interfering in the Dhaka University Central Student Union (DUCSU) elections in particular.This was clarified again on the Facebook page of the Bangladesh Army today, Monday (September 8).The post mentions that the issue has been clarified by the army through an official press release earlier.Even so, a vested interest group is deliberately spreading false and baseless rumors. Such misleading propaganda is just an attempt to destroy normal stability, which can disrupt the overall electoral environment.The Bangladesh Army hopes that the central student union elections to be held after a long time will be conducted in an orderly and peaceful manner through a fair democratic process and that it will set an example for the upcoming national elections.The army has expressed its sincere best wishes to the candidates, voters and all concerned participating in the elections.
