Osman Gani , Upazila Correspondent, Chandina || A colorful Jashne Julus (rally) and discussion meeting were held in Chandina, Cumilla, on the occasion of the Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), organized by the devotees of Rezvia Darbar Sharif. On Tuesday morning (August 25), the rally started from the Chandina Government Model Pilot High School playground, paraded through the main roads of the upazila headquarters, circled the Chandina Bus Station on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway, and ended back at the school ground. Thousands of devotees and followers filled the streets with vibrant slogans. The rally was led by the eminent spiritual scholar, Chairman of Rezvia Forum Bangladesh, Shahsufi Muft Badrul Amin Rezvi. Earlier, Atiqul Alam Shawn, Member of Parliament for Cumilla-7 (Chandina) constituency, spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting.Presided over by Alhaj Jalil Doctor, President of the Chandina Upazila branch of Rezvia Darbar Sharif, the discussion meeting was addressed by special guests including Mufti Nazrul Islam Rezvi, President of Cumilla District Rezvia Darbar Sharif Committee Haji Md. Jahangir Alam Rezvi, General Secretary Dr. Golam Mostafa Rezvi, President of Cumilla City Rezvia Darbar Committee Maulana Anwar Hossain Rezvi, Shahjada Muhammad Hamidur Rezvi, and Muhammad Hamidur Rahman Chowdhury from Dharmapasha, Sunamganj.Among others who spoke were General Secretary of the Chandina Upazila Committee Md. Monirul Islam Vendor, Mufti Noor Hossain Rezvi, Mufti Amir Hossain Rezvi, Hafez Mahfuzur Rahman Rezvi, President of Barura Upazila Committee Abdul Kader Rezvi, President of Debidwar Upazila Committee Dr. Khorshed Alam Rezvi, General Secretary A. Karim Member, Maulana Nurul Amin Rezvi, Muhammad Khairul Kabir Rezvi, Md. Yunus Rezvi, Maulana Mazharul Islam Rezvi, Maulana Saddam Hossain Saber, Mufti Abdul Kader Jilani Rezvi, Maulana Asad Reza, President of Chandina Julus Observance Committee Md. Bazlur Rahman Rezvi, and Member Secretary Md. Fazlul Sattar Rezvi.Finally, Milad, Qiam, and Akheri Munajat (final prayer) were held seeking the welfare of the country, nation, and the Muslim Ummah. Local devout Muslims, along with devotees of Cumilla District Rezvia Darbar Sharif, attended the program.
