However, this season, pace-bowling allrounder Muktar Ali did not make the squad.In this situation, Rajshahi team selector Hannan Sarkar reportedly advised Muktar to reach out to captain Shanto directly. But Muktar’s response was sharp and full of questions. He said:“Is Shanto everything? Does he decide everything for the team? Has it come to the point where I have to contact him just to play? Why should I have to speak with him? You are the selectors  it’s your responsibility.”Muktar Ali was born on October 10, 1989, in Rajshahi. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He made his first-class debut for Barishal Division in the 2006–07 season. In the National Cricket League, his highest batting score is 168 runs, while his best bowling performance includes a five-wicket haul.He made his international debut in a T20I against Zimbabwe in 2016, but has not returned to the national team since. Still, his performances in domestic cricket remain noteworthy. While selector Hannan Sarkar advised Muktar to speak with captain Shanto, Muktar’s reaction clearly reflected his dissatisfaction with the selection process.His remarks have raised questions about internal coordination and decision-making within Rajshahi’s cricket setup.
