The chief adviser Dr. Yunus said – when will this government go
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled the country after resigning in the popular uprising of students. Harassment and oppression during his regime. Muhammad Yunus became the chief adviser to the interim government. There is no end to speculations and stories around him. In particular, discussion-criticism is going on – how long will this government stay or when will it leave.
Dr. himself spoke about this. Yunus. He said when his government will go.
Sunday (August 25) in the evening address to the nation, the chief adviser. Muhammad Yunus said, everyone is interested to know about one thing, when our government will leave. The answer is in your hands, when will you send us away. We are not people to rule the country. We find joy in our respective professions.
He said, during the crisis of the country, we have accepted the responsibility of the interim government on the call of the students.
I will fulfill this duty with all my strength. Our advisory board is also motivated to work as a team towards this goal. When the elections will be held is a completely political decision; Not our decision. Citizens have to decide when you will leave us.
The chief adviser said, we have come at the call of the students. They are our primary employer. The general public of the country supported our appointment. We will constantly remind everyone so that the question does not suddenly arise, when we will go. When they say, we will leave. We will also reform the Election Commission as part of the reforms. I will keep the commission ready for ideal selection at any time.
Dr. about reforms. Yunus said, we have started various reforms. I would request the countrymen, what is the least we can do to start the discussion. This discussion can give us a direction. But the final decision is a political decision. That decision will come from the political discussion. If we do not get this direction, we will not be able to move forward strongly in negotiations with donor governments and international economic institutions.
He said, I assure that we will not raise any question about the extension of tenure from our side. We ask for your prayers.
The few days that I am there, that time everyone in the advisory board will try to use their talent to overcome the crisis in this crisis of the country. We want to make sure that the opportunity to build a new Bangladesh, which we have gained in exchange for the blood of the students, is not lost because of our differences. If we miss this opportunity, we will be defeated as a nation.
The Chief Adviser further said that we want to remain committed to the martyred, injured and living students, that we will not let this achievement be lost in any way. We pledge to make our country a respectable and exemplary nation in all corners of the world through the opportunity they have given us in return for their sacrifices. In the end, we are once again asking for prayers from all the people of our country, children, teenagers, young people, elderly, old, women, men, that we may succeed in realizing all our dreams.
