Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay has left Dhaka after a two-day state visit. This information was given by the press wing of the chief advisor.
The plane carrying the Bhutanese Prime Minister took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:30 am. Foreign Affairs Advisor M. Towhid Hossain saw him off at the airport.
Trade Advisor Sheikh Bashir Uddin and Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam were also present at the airport at that time.
Before leaving, the Bhutanese Prime Minister was given a 'static guard of honor' as per state protocol.
Tshering Tobgay signed two memorandums of understanding between the two countries during his visit to Dhaka. One on healthcare and the other on internet connectivity. The Bhutanese Prime Minister participated in several events in addition to bilateral discussions with Bangladesh's Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus.
His schedule also included meetings with advisors, senior government officials, and political leaders.
