Mostakur Rahman Ahsan Appointed as New Governor of Bangladesh Bank

Mostakur Rahman has been appointed as the new Governor of Bangladesh Bank, replacing Ahsan H. Mansur.
This information was confirmed by sources at the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday (25 February).

The newly appointed Mostakur Rahman will succeed the current Governor, Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur. Earlier, after the fall of the Hasina government, the interim government had appointed economist Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur as the Governor of Bangladesh Bank. Dr. Mansur had replaced the then Governor, Abdur Rouf Talukder.
