Iran has targeted a U.S. F-35 fighter aircraft. The jet was engaged using Tehran’s air defense system. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that they believe the aircraft has been shot down; however, the United States has denied this claim. According to them, the aircraft was damaged but managed to make an emergency landing at a base in the Middle East. The pilot is also safe. The fifth-generation stealth F-35 is capable of evading enemy radar systems. Since the war began on February 28, both the United States and Israel have been conducting strikes in Iran using F-35 jets. Among these, yesterday (Thursday), Iran directly struck a fighter aircraft for the first time.
