A discussion meeting was organized by the Upazila and Municipal units of BNP in Chandina, Cumilla, to observe the Great Independence and National Day. The program was held on Thursday afternoon at the Maulana Bhashani Auditorium of Chandina Redwan Ahmed College. Former State Minister for Liberation War Affairs and valiant freedom fighter Dr. Redwan Ahmed attended the event as the chief guest, where he shared various heroic memories and accounts of the Liberation War.The meeting was presided over by Municipal BNP leader Professor Gias Uddin Bhuiyan. Special guests included Engineer Kazi Sakhawat Hossain, Science and Technology Affairs Secretary of the Central Krishak Dal; Mofazzal Hossain Bashir, former Joint General Secretary of the Central Chhatra Dal; Sultan Moin Ahmed Robin, President of the Governing Body of Chandina Redwan Ahmed College; and former Chairman AKM Shamsul Haque Master. Moderated by Municipal Chhatra Dal leader Sajjad Hossain, the event also featured speeches from BNP leaders Principal Abul Kashem, Principal Abu Taher, former Chairman Shahjahan Siraj, and Chhatra Dal leader Mahbub Alam, among others.
