There is no chance of going back from the deadline announced by the interim government's chief advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus regarding the national election, said Legal Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul.

He told reporters at the Secretariat on Tuesday (August 19).

The Legal Advisor said that there has been no change in the quality of the political parties. That is why they are making various statements in a political tone. However, there is no chance of going back from the time announced by the chief advisor for the election. The interim government is determined to complete the election on time.

Asif Nazrul said that the responsibility of holding the election is the government's, not the party's. The government is determined to hold the election. We are keeping this in mind in all the steps we have, the election in February, we will go in February.

He also said that based on the recommendations that have been received for the reform of the Anti-Corruption Commission and the Election Commission, laws will be formulated in the next two to three months. Work on this will start from today.
