Krishna Nandi is the president of Jamaat's Dumuria Upazila Sanatan Branch.It has been learned that Krishna Nandi is a businessman. His home is in the Chuknagar commercial area of Dumuria Upazila. He has several business establishments there. Earlier, he was known as a close associate of former Awami League MP Narayan Chandra Chanda.After the mass uprising, he developed a friendship with Jamaat Secretary General and Khulna-5 constituency (Dumuria-Phultala) candidate Mia Golam Parwar. Krishna Nandi has been seen speaking on stage at various Jamaat meetings and seeking votes for the scales.When asked about his candidacy in the election, Krishna Nandi told Jamuna Television, 'Finally, Jamaat has nominated me as the first Hindu candidate. My name was announced as a candidate this evening.'Krishna Nandi is optimistic about winning the election. He will start working in the field for the election campaign from tomorrow.
