Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Home Affairs Advisor to the interim government, has gone to Evercare Hospital in the capital to inquire about the health of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.He entered the hospital at 1:18 pm on Saturday (November 29).Hospital sources said the Home Affairs Adviser wanted to know directly about Khaleda Zia's physical condition. However, it is not yet known whether he has spoken to the doctors.Earlier, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Ameer Maulana Muhammad Mamunul Haque went to the hospital to inquire about Khaleda Zia's health. Just before that, National Citizens Party (NCP) leaders came to the hospital and inquired about Khaleda Zia's physical condition. Later, NCP leaders spoke to the doctors about Khaleda Zia's physical condition and ongoing treatment. The NCP delegation included Senior Joint Member Secretary Dr. Tasneem Zara, Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari and Chief Organizer (South) Hasnat Abdullah.Khaleda Zia has been suffering from various complex diseases for a long time. She is under close observation under the supervision of specialist doctors at Evercare Hospital. According to the doctors, her condition requires advanced treatment and she is in critical condition.
