Nahid needs to come clean, who wants a safe exit: Rizwana Hasan

Nahid Islam should clarify the issue of those among the advisors who want to take a safe exit. If he ever clarifies it, then the issue of the government's statement will come to the fore. Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Advisor on Environment, Forest and Climate Change, said that there is no opportunity to comment on this issue before.Advisor Rizwana Hasan said these things in response to a question while talking to journalists at the Secretariat on Wednesday afternoon."Many of the advisors have made liaisons with different political parties, they are thinking about their own safe exit," said Nahid Islam, convener of the National Citizens Party (NCP), in a recent interview with a television channel. There is a lot of discussion and criticism going on on the social media Facebook about his statement. Today, journalists asked Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan about that statement. In response, Syeda Rizwana Hasan said, "Like all political parties, the government has a good working relationship with the new political party. Did he say this out of pride or did he have a grievance about something? He himself will have to clarify these issues. If he ever clarifies, then the government's statement will come. There is no opportunity for the government to speak before that."The advisor said, "Nahid Islam's statement is his to refute, not mine. If the statement was specific, then maybe the government would have said something. Maybe that's their idea, they think it was said as a statement. There is no opportunity for the government to take a stand here. There is no opportunity for the government to give a statement."Syeda Rizwana Hasan said in response to a question, "I am not looking for any exit at all. I am on the soil of the country, and I have faced many storms before. After overcoming those storms, I have stayed on the soil of the country. I will spend the rest of my life in Bangladesh.’In response to a question about whether there is any discussion within the government about Nahid Islam’s statement, the advisor said, ‘Political party leaders are constantly talking about various issues of the government, this is their right. This is the practice of democracy. Now if we react and think about every issue, when will we run the ministries? When an issue is officially informed to the government, then of course the government will talk about it. It is not possible for the government to say anything in the context of unofficial statements.’In response to a question about whether the election will be held in February, advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan said that the situation in the country is completely stable. Not only the interim government has said that the election will be held in February, but all political parties have also started their activities in favor of the election in February.‘The election will be held in February, we (the government) do not think there is any opportunity or space to raise any question marks here,’ he said.
