After the bail hearing in the court on Wednesday, Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Monirul Islam rejected his bail application.Earlier on Monday, Shahbagh Police Station SI Shahidul Islam filed a case against Shakib Khan under sections 22 and 27 of the Cyber ​​Security Ordinance. The document sent to the court was signed by Shahbagh Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md. Asaduzzaman. It was mentioned that Shakib Khan, posing as the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, offered a bribe to the Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Md. The accused is an active member of an organized fraud ring.Shakib Khan was arrested from Bogra under sections 22 and 27 of the Cyber ​​Security Ordinance after receiving this information during cyber crime monitoring. He will be taken on remand and questioned. Therefore, since the investigation is not over, it is necessary to keep him in jail. There is a possibility that he will abscond forever if he is granted bail. This will hamper the investigation of the case.Meanwhile, on Wednesday, a human chain and protest rally was held in Bogra under the banner of general students and the public to protest against Shakib Khan's arrest under the Cyber ​​Security Act and demand the repeal of all black laws including the Cyber ​​Security Ordinance.
