Principal Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus' upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia has been canceled. He was scheduled to attend the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Nine conference to be held in Riyadh at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The conference will be held from October 27 to 30.However, instead of Dr. Yunus, the Bangladesh delegation will be led by the Principal Advisor's Special Envoy for International Affairs Dr. Lutfe Siddiqui. This information has been confirmed by the Principal Advisor's office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.Officials said that the decision to visit Saudi Arabia by the Principal Advisor has been canceled due to the ongoing political situation in the country, especially the implementation process of the July Charter and the preparations for the upcoming elections.
