The current government will not be able to survive if BNP starts protesting over the July Charter issue, believes party standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy. He further said that BNP is patiently facing the situation and is expecting free and fair elections under this government.
Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, along with the leaders of the newly formed full committee of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), paid tribute to BNP founder Ziaur Rahman at the tomb of his father on Sunday (November 2) morning.
Later, in a conversation with media personnel, this BNP standing committee member said that the people have understood the deception that has been done to the nation over the July Charter issue. Although the entire government, including the chief advisor, is silent on the matter. The current government will not be able to survive if BNP chooses the path of protest. But instead of protesting the issue as it should, BNP is presenting a statement to the people. Responding to the statements of various political parties surrounding BNP, Gayeshwar said that efforts are continuing to make BNP controversial as there is a strong possibility of it coming to power in the coming days. Gayeshwar Chandra Roy also commented that BNP does not consider the parties as rivals.
