Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin said that cooperation of political parties is very important to bring voters to the polls and create a safe electoral environment. He made these remarks on the second day of dialogue with political parties ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections.
The dialogue began at 10:30 am on Sunday (November 16) at the Election Commission office in Agargaon. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin is presiding over it.
EC sources said that the dialogue will be held with Gono Forum, Gano Front, Islamic Front Bangladesh, Islami Oikya Jote, Bangladesh Supreme Party-BSP and Bangladesh Jatiya Party till 12 noon.
In addition, dialogue will be held with Bangladesh Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Bangladesh JSD), Bangladesh National Awami Party (Bangladesh NAP), Trinamool BNP, Krishak Sramik Janata League, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis and Islami Andolan Bangladesh from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Earlier, the EC started dialogue with political parties last Thursday (November 13). Dialogues were held with 12 political parties that morning and afternoon. Today is the second day of the EC's dialogue with political parties.
