In response to a question, Asif Nazrul said, "Political parties say different things for different purposes. That is a political process. You have always seen it. Traditionally, these political conversations used to happen in Bangladesh, and they are still happening in the same way. There has not been much qualitative change in the conversations. As a result, you will see who says what during the election as part of the political process."

He further said, "We, on behalf of the government, are determined. Our sir (chief advisor) is a universally recognized and respected person on the world stage. He himself has made the announcement. We have no intention of backing down from his announcement."
