RJ Atiqul Ghazi, a young man who lost his arm in the July 24 coup, has boycotted the National Citizens Party (NCP).
He made this announcement in a video message on Wednesday (November 26).
Atiq said, “From today, I have boycotted the National Citizens Party (NCP). I have noticed that they are trying to spread their lies in a twisted manner. They are saying freedom of expression. We have clearly noticed. The Baul government has insulted Allah Ta’ala. There is no such thing as expression of opinion here. Of course, there must be freedom of expression. So why would anyone insult Allah Ta’ala?”
He also said, “As a child of a Muslim family, I cannot oppose the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Therefore, I have decided to boycott all the activities of the NCP from today. Until the NCP comes back from their wrong decision and repents, I will boycott their activities.”
