BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas has alleged that Begum Khaleda Zia was gradually poisoned while in jail during the tenure of the fallen government.

He made these remarks while attending the Ruposhi Bangla Photographer Exhibition and Competition Award Distribution Ceremony at the Photo Journalist Association Auditorium in Purana Paltan in the capital on Saturday (November 29) morning.

At the same time, he also said that the elections will be held in February without the Awami League. He also said that no conspiracy from outside the country will succeed.

Stating that Khaleda Zia's illness is not a normal illness, he sought prayers from the countrymen for Begum Khaleda Zia's recovery.
