Police have arrested domestic worker Ayesha in connection with the brutal murder of a mother and daughter on Shahjahan Road in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. What was the real reason behind this murder? When this question was on everyone's lips, Ayesha's husband revealed the reason.
After her arrest, Ayesha's husband Rabbi said, "She (Ayesha) thinks that she will steal some things and give them to me, and that she will get some money. When she stole a laptop and a mobile phone, she saw her madam. Madam chased her from behind. Then she started beating her with a knife. As long as she was chased, she kept beating her with a knife. Then when her daughter came, she also started beating her."
Rabbi said that when she was leaving the house after stealing some goods, housewife Laila Afroz caught her. Then she stabbed her with the knife she had in her hand. At that time, when Laila Afroz's daughter Nafisa came forward, he also stabbed her.
Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, Mohammadpur Police arrested domestic worker Ayesha from Kawar Char village in Nalchiti.
Mohammadpur Zone Assistant Commissioner (AC) Md. Abdullah Al Mamun led a 9-member team of Mohammadpur Police Station to arrest her.
Mother Laila Afroz (48) and daughter Nafisa Lawal Binte Aziz (15) were murdered in their house on Shahjahan Road in Mohammadpur, the capital, on Monday morning.
