The United States has claimed that it has carried out attacks on more than 3,000 targets in Iran since the war began. The country's Central Command released this information today (Saturday).In a post on the microblogging site X, Central Command said that 43 Iranian ships have been damaged or destroyed in Operation Epic Fury, which began last Saturday.Central Command also stated that the attacks are specifically targeting regions in Iran from where attacks against them could be launched at any time. The purpose of these strikes is to destroy the equipment of Iran's security forces.However, the news outlet BBC reported that it has confirmed attacks on several schools, hospitals, and civilian facilities in Iran so far. This suggests that U.S. forces have not only targeted military installations but have also carried out attacks affecting civilians. Among these incidents, 165 people, including students, were reportedly killed at a girls’ primary school alone.
