Elections will be held by February 15: Press Secretary

There is no possibility of postponing the 13th National Parliament election, said Shafiqul Alam, the press secretary of the chief advisor.

He said this while talking to media personnel while visiting the house of poet Farruk Ahmed in Majhail-Mandartala, Sreepur upazila of Magura on Friday (September 12) morning.

Shafiqul Alam said there is no possibility of postponing the election. The election will be held by February 15. No one will be able to thwart this election.

He also said that the peace and order that was observed in the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) election is expected to be as peaceful and acceptable as the national election held in the first week of February. Everyone will be able to vote spontaneously in that election.

Magura Deputy Commissioner Md. Ahidul Islam and Railway Project Engineer Asaduzzaman Asad were among local dignitaries present during the visit to the house of poet Farruk Ahmed.
