Chandina Thana Police arrested two suspects during a special operation conducted over the last 24 hours.The arrestees include a member of a theft syndicate and a fugitive wanted under a court warrant. Both individuals were produced before the learned court on Friday and subsequently sent to jail.According to police sources, one of the arrestees has been identified as Md. Jashim (38), son of the late A. Hakim, residing in the Belashwar (Boubazar) area of Chandina Municipality. He was arrested in connection with a theft case. The other arrestee is Babul Chandra Das (36), son of Ranjit Chandra Das, from Mohanpur (Post: Ambarpur) in Chandina Upazila. He was apprehended on the basis of a CR (Complaint Register) arrest warrant.Chandina Thana Police stated that such special operations will continue in order to curb crime and maintain law and order in the area. Following the completion of all legal procedures, both suspects were duly forwarded to the learned court.
