JSTU central library gets AC, student attendance rises
Vice Chancellor Dr Amir visited Central Library

The central library of Jamalpur Science and Technology University (JSTU) has been equipped with air conditioning (AC), creating a more comfortable and study-friendly environment for students.

Since the installation, student attendance at the library has increased significantly, while readers have welcomed the improved conditions.

Vice-Chancellor Md Amir Hossain visited the central library on Tuesday, reads a press release. During the visit, he inspected the overall environment, observed student attendance and reviewed the operation of the newly installed AC system.

Speaking during the visit, the Vice Chancellor said, “Ensuring a modern and conducive learning environment for the university’s students is one of the key commitments of the university administration.

The installation of AC in the central library will enable students to study comfortably for longer periods, which will play a positive role in their education and research.”

Library officials said student attendance has increased compared with previous levels, particularly during the hotter hours of the day, since the AC was installed. Students have also welcomed the initiative and expressed their gratitude to the university administration.

The university administration said it continues to implement infrastructure development initiatives to improve the quality of education, research and services for the benefit of students.
