Members of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chandina Upazila Monitoring Team visited various Puja Mandaps across the upazila to inquire about law and order as well as the overall situation during the Sharadiya Durga Puja in Chandina, Comilla.On Sunday evening (October 18), during the Maha Saptami of Durga Puja, they inspected and inquired about the arrangements at Chandina Raj Kali Bari in the upazila headquarters, Sahapara, and various other Puja Mandaps in the municipality.Present at the time were Advocate Tauhidul Islam Babu, Joint Convener of Comilla North District BNP and Convener of the Upazila Puja Monitoring Team; Member Secretary and former Mayor Shah Mohammad Alamgir Khan; Member and former General Secretary of Upazila BNP Kazi Arshad; BNP leader Principal Abu Taher; former Joint General Secretary of Central Chhatra Dal Mofazzal Hossain Bashir; President of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Front Chandina Upazila Branch Professor Gouranga Chandra Saha; General Secretary Kartik Das Member; former President of Upazila Chhatra Dal Md. Sharifuzzaman Sharif; Jubo Dal leader Md. Farhad Karim; Joint Convener of Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal Md. Ershadul Haque; former Vice-President of Comilla North District Chhatra Dal S.M. Rezaul Karim; Lecturer Saiful Islam Babar; and former Joint General Secretary Mahbub Alam, among others.Earlier, members of the BNP Chandina Upazila Monitoring Team held an exchange-of-views meeting with Chandina Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Ashraful Haque regarding the overall arrangements for the Puja.
