Cristiano Ronaldo has added another remarkable chapter to his legendary career. The Portuguese superstar has now become Portugal’s outright top scorer in FIFA World Cup history.Ronaldo achieved the milestone by scoring twice against Uzbekistan in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, surpassing Portuguese football icon Eusébio. Until now, Eusébio had held the record with nine goals, all scored during the 1966 World Cup.Ronaldo equaled the record with his first goal of the match before breaking it in the 39th minute.
