A large motorcycle procession was organized in the Dhaka-5 constituency on Friday (November 7) under the leadership of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central Majlis-e-Shura member and party-nominated parliamentary candidate, Mohammad Kamal Hossain. The rally began at 10:00 AM from Shaheed Farooq Road in Jatrabari, where hundreds of party activists and local supporters participated.

The procession moved through several key roads across Dhaka South. During brief roadside addresses, Kamal Hossain urged voters to support the “Dari Palla” symbol, pledging development-focused politics, transparency, and fair administration. He also emphasized the importance of active voter engagement in the electoral process.

The event was presided over by Abdus Salam, a member of the Religious Affairs Council of Dhaka South Jamaat-e-Islami, President of the Social Welfare Federation, and coordinator for the Dhaka-5 constituency. Leaders of Islami Chhatra Shibir and a significant number of activists joined the rally, which drew attention from local residents along its route.

The procession concluded at the Jatrabari intersection after parading through the constituency’s major roads.
