The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), one of the most influential political forces in the country, has played a significant role in upholding democracy, safeguarding people’s rights, and addressing national interests since its inception. Emerging in the post-independence era, BNP established itself as a strong political voice with a vision to build a democratic and people-oriented governance system.On the occasion of BNP’s founding anniversary, various political and social organizations traditionally extend their greetings. This year, the National Citizen’s Party (NCP) also conveyed its goodwill. A delegation, led by NCP’s Chief Organizer Mr. Sarjis Alam, visited the BNP’s central office in Gulshan to exchange greetings with party leaders.During the exchange, the NCP delegation congratulated BNP on its anniversary and emphasized the importance of collective efforts to strengthen democratic practices in Bangladesh. They noted that while political parties may differ in ideology, gestures of goodwill and cooperation in the greater interest of democracy and the nation enrich the country’s political culture.According to political observers, the participation of other parties in BNP’s founding anniversary reflects more than a ceremonial exchange it stands as a positive example of political coexistence in Bangladesh.
