Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has been admitted to the capital's Evercare Hospital for a regular health check-up.She went to the hospital from her Gulshan residence Firoza at around 7:30 pm on Sunday (November 23). She was later admitted for various health tests.Khaleda Zia's personal physician Dr. Al Mamun confirmed the matter.He said that the BNP Chairperson was admitted to the hospital on the advice of the medical board.Earlier, Begum Zia participated in a program organized at Senakunj on the occasion of Armed Forces Day on Friday (November 21) afternoon. Her press wing said that she attended the program on the advice of the medical board.Khaleda Zia has been suffering from various diseases including arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung and eye complications for a long time. She went to London for advanced treatment on January 7 this year and returned to the country on May 6 after staying there for 117 days. Even after returning to the country, she is being taken to Evercare Hospital as part of a regular health check-up.
