Rakib Hasan began his freelancing journey in 2020 while working as a motorcycle mechanic. During his free time, he explored YouTube tutorials and online resources to learn content creation and digital marketing. He had no professional mentor, no expensive courses, and no shortcut to success—only curiosity, determination, and a dream to change his life.
The early days were difficult. Understanding new concepts, learning practical skills, and finding the right direction took time. Like many beginners, he faced confusion and made countless mistakes. But instead of giving up, he continued practicing and learning every single day. Slowly, experience replaced uncertainty, and confidence started to grow.
One of the biggest challenges he faced was society’s mindset toward online work. At that time, many people did not consider freelancing a serious career. Friends and relatives often doubted the future of digital work. Despite the negativity, Rakib believed in himself. He knew that consistency and patience would eventually create opportunities.
That belief turned into reality when he earned his first online income of $465. For many, it might have seemed like a small amount, but for Rakib, it was life-changing. It was more than money—it was proof that his efforts were working and that a new future was possible.
As his skills improved, he started working with international clients from the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia. These experiences helped him understand the global market, improve communication skills, and gain professional confidence in handling real business projects.
Currently, Rakib Hasan earns approximately BDT 100,000 to 150,000 per month through Digital Marketing Services, Video Marketing, and Business Growth Projects. While he initially worked on freelancing marketplaces, he now operates independently through his own agency and works directly with clients.
Today, he manages two organizations:
SBF Outsourcing Institute, SBF Marketing Agency Ltd
Through these platforms, he provides both digital skill training and international client services. One of his proudest achievements is training nearly 1,200 people in digital skills, helping many young individuals begin their own freelancing journeys.
For Rakib Hasan, success is not only about personal achievement. He believes real success comes from creating opportunities for others. His long-term vision is to build a large-scale digital skill development platform in Bangladesh, where young people can learn international-standard skills and become financially independent.
He also shares a powerful message for beginners:
Don’t run after quick success. Focus on building real skills first. Patience, practice, and continuous learning are the true keys to success. If you stay consistent and give proper effort, success will eventually come.
