ISU Hosts Career Counseling Seminar in Gazipur to Facilitate Higher Education

A special seminar was held at Tairunnessa Memorial Nursing College in Gazipur to guide nursing students and interns on higher education opportunities and career development. Organized by International Standard University (ISU), the "Seminar on Higher Education & Career Counseling" took place at the college auditorium on Wednesday (August 19) morning.

Over a hundred interns and recently passed nurses, along with teachers and staff, actively participated in the session. The event featured detailed discussions on the importance of a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and various aspects of professional advancement for those in the nursing profession. Speakers provided the students with clear guidelines regarding their higher education pathways.

Sanjida Bhuiyan Haque, Director of TMMC Nursing College, chaired the event. Mohammad Faizullah Kawshik, Registrar of ISU, delivered an insightful speech as the Keynote Speaker. Dr. Kazi Rakibul Islam, Assistant Professor at ISU, also addressed the audience as a Speaker. Liuni Lipika Rozario, Principal of TMMC Nursing College, and Dr. Md. Amanulla, Representative of ISU, spoke as Special Guests. Md. Towhiddjjaman, Assistant Director of Admission & Information at ISU, coordinated and convened the overall program.

A significant portion of the seminar was dedicated to a direct interactive session. This allowed students to get immediate answers to their questions regarding career paths and admission procedures. The organizers expect that this seminar will establish a strong network between the students and the university, smoothing their path to higher education in the future.
