A vibrant rally was held in Noakhali to mark the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Jubo Dal. The event, organized by the district unit of the Jubo Dal, took place on Tuesday afternoon (October 27) as part of a nationwide program. Leaders and activists from the BNP, the Jubo Dal, and its affiliated organizations participated in the rally.‎The rally commenced in the afternoon from the main road in Maijdee, Noakhali. It proceeded through the city's major thoroughfares before concluding at the Central Shaheed Minar. The presence of party leaders and activists created a festive atmosphere during the anniversary celebrations.‎Mahbub Alamgir Alo, the convener of the Noakhali District BNP, addressed the gathering as the chief guest.‎In his speech, he stated that regardless of the conspiracies hatched against the BNP a party founded by the late President Ziaur Rahman it would not be easy to destroy it. Highlighting the ideals and political legacy of the party's founder, Ziaur Rahman, he urged the leaders and activists to remain united.‎He further noted that following the tenure of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, the BNP is now moving forward under the leadership of her son, Tarique Rahman, with the support of the nation's people. He expressed optimism that the BNP would continue to work for the welfare of the country, bolstered by the affection of the public.Also present at the event were Noakhali District BNP Member Secretary Harunur Rashid Azad; district BNP leaders Abdur Rahman and Shahidul Islam Kiran; Begumganj Upazila BNP Convener Babu Kamaksha Chandra Das; and District Jubo Dal President Manjurul Azim Suman and General Secretary Nurul Amin Khan.‎Additionally, Jubo Dal leaders Omar Faruk Topi and VP Jasim, along with District Swechasebak Dal President Saber Ahmed, General Secretary Mizanur Rahman, and various other leaders and activists from the BNP and its affiliated wings, took part in the program.Through this rally, Jubo Dal members in Noakhali participated in the party's anniversary observances. The day was marked with the participation of leaders and activists from various levels across the district, in alignment with the central program.
