Free Medical Camp in Chandina

A unique free medical camp and tree plantation drive was held at the Chandina Government Pilot High School ground in Chandina, Cumilla. The exceptional initiative was jointly organized by the 'Rotary Club of Narayanganj Royal' and the local 'Chandina Al-Razi Diagnostic & Consultation Centre'.

The innovative event was organized to combat the risks of climate change and ensure healthcare services for rural people. A large number of patients visiting the camp were provided with free health check-ups by a team of specialist doctors, along with necessary medicines. Furthermore, to raise environmental awareness and promote afforestation, a high-quality tree sapling was handed over to each beneficiary after their treatment.

Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Managing Director of Al-Razi Diagnostic Centre, stated that the initiative aimed not only to deliver quality healthcare to the doorsteps of underprivileged people but also to contribute to the preservation of nature. Senior officials from both the Rotary Club and the diagnostic centre, along with local dignitaries, were present at the event. The local residents expressed great joy at receiving free advanced medical care, medicines, and tree saplings, while the organizers pledged to continue such multidimensional social activities in the future.
